Natalie is a registered psychologist and has worked in the mental health field since 2007, in a variety of settings including clinical, community, and occupational. She works from a positive psychology framework, with a focus on fostering well-being through working with clients to develop a greater self-awareness and skills, to respond to situations and general challenges in a more helpful way, and in a way in which they can flourish and move forward in their lives.
Natalie is also a Yoga Teacher and has a strong interest in Mindfulness Therapy and using mindfulness meditation and breath work for anxiety prevention and management. Natalie also has experience in working with children from as young as 4 years old in relation to behavioural issues, anxiety, and problems with mood, including working with parents to learn and develop skills, so that they can facilitate sustainable change in their child. Furthermore, Natalie draws upon evidence based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Resilience skills building, Assertive Communication skills Training, Parenting Skills Training, as well as intervention for Obsessive Compulsive symptoms.
