Brooke is a Holistic Physiotherapist with a background in Neuroscience. She mainly sees people who are experiencing unexplained symptoms or complex and persisting issues, who haven't found much help so far. These conditions may be particularly prevalent in those who have experienced chronic stress and/ or trauma and include:

  • Chronic pain

  • Long COVID

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  • Functional Neurological Disorders

  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

Brooke acknowledges the many ways that our rich and complex inner worlds can contribute to our experience of bodily symptoms. With this in mind, she takes time to get to know her clients beyond presenting symptoms, working uniquely and compassionately with each individual. Brooke considers the interplay between biological, psychological and social factors, in the context of individual neurobiology and development. Intervention is slow, graded and set at the pace of the individual to allow for physiological nervous system reorganisation and integration in a way that is not overwhelming for the system.

Brooke has worked with clients in body-based modalities for 15 years, has collaborated on projects and published peer-reviewed papers in the field of trauma and chronic conditions, and continues to work remotely as a sessional academic at Monash University.

For any enquiries or bookings, please contact Brooke directly via her mobile or website.
