Billing Policy

North Coast Medical Centre is a private billing practice. All consultations are charged at our standard private consultation fee. This applies to appointments for both new and existing patients, as well as visitors to the practice.

Bulk Billing & Preventive Care

We strongly value preventive care and supporting our patients' long-term health. To ensure essential health assessments and care plans remain accessible, we bulk bill (no out-of-pocket cost) the following services for eligible patients:

• Health Assessments

• Heart Health Checks

• Chronic Disease Management Plans (Care plans)

• Frequent Chronic Disease Management Plan Reviews (Care Plan Reviews)

Additionally, we offer bulk billing for standard consultations to eligible MyMedicare-registered patients, children under 16 years of age, and valid Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card holders.

Please note: Bulk billing eligibility and service frequency are subject to Medicare criteria and the clinical discretion of your treating doctor.

We process your Medicare claim directly on your behalf after your consultation, so you only pay the out-of-pocket gap fee.

If your service is fully bulk billed, you will be asked to sign an Assignment of Benefit (AoB). For more information press the link below.

Practice Fee Schedule - Fees as of 1 October 2026

We accept payment for our fees with cash, EFTPOS and Credit Card (Amex is not accepted).

It is crucial that you notify NCMC of your cancellation, at least 24 hours prior to your Doctors appointment time, to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.
