Dr Paul Orrock

Paul originally trained as a general nurse, and has qualifications in Naturopathy and Osteopathy. He has practiced as an osteopath for over 35 years in Sydney, Melbourne and Byron Bay, and has been at North Coast Medical Centre since 1998.

Paul uses a broad range of techniques and health promotion strategies to tailor his management of people with pain and restricted function. Paul trains osteopaths as an Associate Professor at Southern Cross University, and had had many leadership roles in the profession. 

Paul’s goal is to ensure that all members of the public have access to safe and effective healthcare from these professions.

Lauren Mathieson
Registered Osteopath

BClinSc, MOstMed

Lauren has over 10 years of combined experienced offering manual therapy, first as a ZenThai Shiatsu therapist and now as a qualified Osteopath. She received her Bachelor of Clinical Science and Master of Osteopathic Medicine from Southern Cross University at the start of 2022 and has been practicing as a registered Osteopath in the Byron Shire since then.

Lauren uses a variety of osteopathic techniques to help restore movement and function and support a calm and balanced nervous system. She tailors every treatment plan to meet the specific needs of her patients, offering an in-depth osteopathic assessment, treatment and ongoing management plan.

Lauren has a special interest in pregnancy and postpartum care, women’s health and peri/post-menopausal support, and exercise rehabilitation.
